 Your FJC Account Investment Options

When establishing an account with FJC, you can recommend how the FJC Fund should be invested among various investment pools. Recommendations should be based on risk tolerance and anticipated grant activity. FJC will consider customized investment options for accounts with balances of $1 million or more.

As an independent organization that is not related to a brokerage firm, FJC is free to work with various financial institutions to keep expenses as low as possible, generating the best returns possible for our donors.  Value Equities - Domestic Fund

Invests in U.S. equities that are judged to be undervalued by the market and that therefore have the potential to provide above average returns.

  Value Equities - International Fund

Invests in international equities that are judged to be undervalued by the market and that therefore have the potential to provide above average returns.

 Fixed Income - Intermediate Duration Fund

Invests in a diversified portfolio of fixed income securities that attempts to achieve the highest return consistent with a prudent level of risk. While the maturities of the securities in the portfolio may vary widely, the objective is to maintain an average duration of three to six years.

 Money Market Fund

Invests in short term fixed income securities that attempt to provide maximum income consistent with minimum risk.

 S&P 500 Index Fund

Seeks to track the performance of the Standard & Poor's 500 Composite Stock Price Index, which emphasizes stocks of large U.S. companies.

 Socially Responsive Fund

Invests in large and medium capitalization companies that are not involved in alcohol, tobacco, gaming, weapons making or nuclear power, and which seek to preserve forests, improve working conditions, and corporate governance.

 Growth Fund

Invests primarily in companies, domestic and foreign, with attractively priced growth potential.

  Wilshire 5000 Index Fund

Seeks to parallel the performance of the Wilshire 5000 Equity Index, which consists of all of the U.S. stocks regularly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, on the American Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq over-the-counter market.

  Agency Loan Fund

Provides loans at market rates of interest to credit qualified charitable organizations with limited access to other credit sources. U.S. Government Bonds and other assets back the principal of the loans
