You can make additional contributions to and FJC Account in the form of cash, credit card or appreciated securities (including mutual funds) at any time you choose, for any dollar amount. 


Donate Via Credit Card

 

Donations made through PayPal are tax deductible as allowed by law. You must print the confirmation page at the end of your transaction for your tax purposes.

Please be sure to indicate the intended FJC account when prompted. If you do not complete this field, FJC will not know how to credit your gift upon receipt. 

PayPal charges a fee of 2.2% + $0.30 per transaction.


 Make a contribution of appreciated securities to a fund at FJC 

Security contributions can be made to FJC accounts by the account holder or third party individuals, corporations, or non-profits using the following instructions:

Fill out the appropriate forms: Complete the FJC Transfer Authorization Form and send a copy to your broker and fax a copy to FJC at 212-714-0303. You can also send an e-mail to FJC@FJC.org with the details of the transfer. Please include the name of the security, number of shares being transferred, and the account name at FJC for which the funds are designated.

If you are an existing FJC account holder: If you would like to specify the investment allocation for your gift, please include FJC’s Additional Contribution Form, when faxing or e-mailing us the details of your security contribution. If no instructions are specified, we will use the default allocation currently in place on the account.

If you are not an existing FJC account holder: Please be sure to provide us with your mailing address so we are able to issue you a tax receipt for your gift.


 Make a contribution by wire or check:

Contributions can be made to FJC accounts by the account holder or third party individuals, corporations, or non-profits - if you would like to make a contribution via wire transfer, please contact our office for instructions. To make a contribution by check, please use the following instructions:

  1.  Make your check payable to FJC (we cannot accept cash donations).
  2.  Indicate the name of the Fund - Be sure to indicate the Fund name in the check memo line or in the accompanying document. If you are an existing FJC account holder, please feel free to include FJC’s Additional Contribution Form, which will help us identify your gift upon receipt, and allows you to specify the investment allocation per gift.
  3. Be sure to provide your current mailing address - If your address is not preprinted on your checks, or if your check information is not up-to-date, please be sure to provide your current mailing address. We must have this information on file to issue you a tax receipt for your gift.

What will I need for my tax records?

Each time you make a contribution of $250 or more to your FJC Donor Advised Fund, to a Collective Giving Fund or to a fiscally sponsored program, you will receive a tax substantiation letter for your donation – that’s all you need! If you make a contribution of under $250 to an FJC account, your canceled check or e-mail confirmation is sufficient. Please contact us to request a tax substantiation letter. 


FJC is a 501(c)(3) public charity. As such, all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
